Hello Kraków is a programme dedicated to city life, local initiatives, culture. It is broadcast from Monday to Thursday at 6pm from the studio at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre and is available on www.playkrakow.com.

The première live episodes are translated into Polish sign language from this week onwards. They can also be viewed on the PLAY KRAKÓW platform.

Sign language translation is one of PLAY KRAKÓW initiatives to respond to the needs of people with sensory disabilities. The materials broadcast on the platform are subtitled and there are also plans to introduce audio description, allowing blind and visually impaired people to receive it.

PLAY KRAKÓW is a multimedia platform presenting the most interesting topics concerning Kraków’s affairs. Its activities are part of the implementation of the city brand communication strategy “Kraków is a story”.

It features recordings of plays and concerts, documentaries made by Kraków’s cultural institutions and PLAY KRAKÓW materials – interviews and reports on culture, music, cuisine.

The municipal company, Kraków5020, which builds and manages the city image and its promotion in cooperation with numerous partners, is responsible for running the platform. The main task of the company is to strengthen Kraków’s brand as a modern European metropolis, attractive, open and tolerant; a city of world cultural heritage and a thriving academic centre.
