Winner of the Chopin Competition at ICE Classic

ICE Classic is a series of classical music concerts in the Krzysztof Penderecki Auditorium Hall in the ICE Kraków Congress Centre. Kraków audiences have come to love the series for its excellent selection of artists and repertoire and the perfect execution of the concerts. Its next instalment will take place on 13 December.

The concert series puts Kraków on par with Europe’s most influential music scenes, presenting the most renowned classical music artists. Thanks to a diverse selection of artists, music lovers have the opportunity to get to know the world of instrumental, symphonic, early or opera music better. This time, the modern interiors of ICE Kraków will host an artist who needs no introduction – Bruce Liu.

ICE CLASSIC – BRUCE LIU

This year, on 13 December, as part of the ICE Classic concerts, we will have the pleasure of hosting the winner of the 18th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw – Bruce Liu. This is a unique event in the history of Kraków, as it will be the pianist’s first performance in the capital of Malopolska. Bruce Liu, who was unanimously selected as the winner of the prestigious Chopin Competition, is one of the most recognisable pianists of the young generation. Since his unquestionable success, he has been performing in the greatest concert halls worldwide. During the recital, we will hear, among others, pieces recorded on the artist’s latest album, released on 3 November. The programme includes works by Jean-Philippe Rameau, Fryderyk Chopin, Maurice Ravel and Ferenc Liszt.
