The workshop took place in the ICE Krakow Congress Centre on 24 January. It was attended by almost150 people representing various branches of tourism, Krakow Network, cultural institutions, host cities and tourist organisations. European Games are not only an opportunity to attract tourists to Krakow and build an image of our city that will stay in our guests’ memory for long. They also provide potential for growth of our market of tourist services’, Paula Fanderowska, Vice-President of Krakow 5020, leader of the Krakow Network project, said.

The purpose of the meeting was to present what the Games have to offer, the organisational and promotional activities, the schedule of sports events, locations and sports facilities as well as opportunities that the Games will provide for the region while also presenting the status of the cooperation with Host Cities. Krakow as the Host City and the Małopolskie voivodeship as the hosting region presented the existing and continuously developing tools and applications that can be used in the work of travel agencies or hotels.  Representatives of Krynica Zdrój, Krzeszowice, Nowy Targ and Tarnów presented their tourist and cultural offers and solutions for fans of the Games. The meeting could no fail to include the Polish Tourist Organisation, Małopolska Tourist Organisation and a partner of the Games ATOS, who all presented their programs for the international promotion of the Games.
