Another meeting in the Hero Story cycle will take place in Kraków Story on Saturday 13 May. The workshop in the Wyspiański Pavilion will be conducted by Pola Zag, an interior designer by training, passionate about unique jewellery. It will be an opportunity to create jewellery using recycled materials. The event will take place in Kraków Story in the Wyspiański Pavilion from 3.00pm to 5.00pm on 13 May. The tickets cost 15 PLN and will be available in Kraków Story from 5 May 2023.
Everything started with a lamp or rather with materials left over after its completion, which Pola, an interior designer passionate about design who has lived in Krakow for years, used to make the first bracelet for herself. Her friends liked the bracelet, told other friends about it and this is how, by word of mouth, from one bracelet to another, the Pola Zag brand was born. Pola handcrafts unusual, original jewellery the forms of which often draw from her interest in architecture; it is sometimes minimalist and sometimes full of life and intelligently playing with references to organic forms. Her works are sought-after and regularly feature in most important fashion magazines and media while Pola is simply happy according to what she says.
’I was wearing jewellery myself It felt annoying that all the shops had the same things. That the jewellery from high-street shops, which is rather interesting, gets damaged very quickly. And the rest is very expensive or aesthetically uninteresting. But all in all, it started by chance. I was studying interior design after all and it was my passion!’ Pola Zag stressed. All the elements Pola designs are made by hand of brass and stainless steel. The workshop jewellery will be made of recycled materials from her studio.
