As of 1 November 2022, the InfoKrakow Municipal Information Network has been operating within Krakow5020. The main goal of InfoKrakow is to run a comprehensive integrated system of tourist and cultural information. The network offers end-to-end services to Polish and foreign tourists and to the inhabitants of Krakow.

The Municipal Information Network consists of eight InfoKrakow Municipal Information Points located in various parts of Krakow. In addition to the end-to-end tourist and cultural information, Points also offer promotional materials about the city and the region and free maps, and conduct statistic studies of the tourist traffic.

’InfoKrakow is an extremely important element in building the image of Krakow. Thanks to this brand, we have direct contact with both tourists visiting the city and the residents themselves. Employees in the points do not only offer information or sell tickets to events but also monitor the needs of tourists’, Izabela Błaszczyk, Krakow5020 President, stresses.

The InfoKrakow network was created on 1 June 2004. It initially consisted of four Municipal Information Points in the 25, Szpitalna Street, 2 Św. Jana Street, 7 Józefa Street and at the 16, Słoneczne estate. Two new locations: in the City Hall Tower at the Main Market Square and at the Balice International Airport were opened in 2005. Another point emerged in 2007 in the Wyspiański Pavilion opened during the official celebrations of the 750th anniversary of the location of Krakow. The eighth point in the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy in Łagiewniki was opened in August 2010.

In 2005 and 2006, Municipal Information Network points in the City Hall Tower and in 25, Szpitalna Street (in the Planty Park) were awarded prizes in the competition for the best Tourist Information Centre organised by the Polish Tourist Organisation.

The present InfoKrakow network consists of 9 points in the following locations:
• 2, Św. Jana Street; open every day from 9 to 17,
• 25, Szpitalna Street; open every day from 9-17,
• 7, Józefa Street; open every day from 9-17,
• Sukiennice; open every day from 9-17,
• Krakow Airport (Balice); open every day from 9-19,

• Powiśle 11; open from Monday through Friday, 9-17,
• Zgody 7; open every day from 10-18,

The point in the Zgody 7 estate is a place of cooperation and partnership between InfoKrakow and Cafe NOWA Księgarnia. It is a place where events for children and adults take place, e.g. meetings with authors and various workshops. It is also a nice place where residents of Krakow can drink coffee.
