Good Morning ICE Krakow means that the congress centre is transformed into the largest playground in Krakow for four hours. It will have a lot of surprises for the youngest visitors and their families and offer an opportunity for quality family time away from home. What attractions await on Sunday 20 November? Let us see!

The November edition of Good Morning ICE Krakow will focus on sounds with an exceptional concert as its highlight. ‘Music is the soul of the universe, wings for the mind, flight of imagination and all life’, Platon wrote. Even though it was a long time ago, it would still be difficult to disagree with the Greek philosopher today. Music permeates the world and is an indispensable element of human relations, it conveys emotions, solidifies memories, stimulates play and brings relaxation. This is why contact with music is so important for the comprehensive development of children.

KBF and the organiser and Krakow5020 as the partner of the event invite you to Good Morning ICE Krakow.

This is what KBF Director Carolina Pietyra had to say about the November edition of the event:

‘It is a tradition that, every three months, KBF invites Krakow’s families to a day full of excitement on an unusual playground. We are happy to be able to invite you to the ICE Krakow Congress Centre again and spend this Sunday together. The autumn edition of the event will be about music, which is one of the most important activity areas in our institution. Excellent attractions, a break from everyday life and fantastic fun will be provided by our guests and partners, and the energy of the youngest recipients of culture will guarantee the best vibe!’

Izabela Błaszczyk, the President of Krakow5020 that is the operator of the ICE Krakow Congress Centre argues that:

‘New hospitality is one of the values guiding Krakow5020. We understand it as the openness to each visitor to the city and each of its residents. This is why we are happy that the congress centre will be open to the youngest visitors again. We make sure that the event’s offerings grow from edition to edition and I believe that this time too everyone will leave Good Morning ICE Krakow satisfied.

And what are we planning for the kids?

Young explorers may be interested in the workshops that will allow them to break away from everyday life for a while and be transported to other, fascinating cultures thanks to the wonderful speakers from the Villages of the World – Global Education Park. Perhaps your children are interested in the automotive industry? If they are you might look for the Prodriver Foundation that has prepared a program combining the passion for motor sports and safe driving. For those who dream about an acting career, the Theater, Music and Dance Studio has a workshop combining three areas of art: theatre, dance and music.

If your children like arts and crafts the Henryk Jordan Youth Centre invites them to a hat and bag painting workshop in a specially created area of passion, learning, fun and relaxation. If they love to move and have endless reserves of energy they may be delighted with the sports activities prepared by the GOjump Trampoline Park and the GOkidz Entertainment Park. Will young polyglots visit us? Be sure to check out the workshops offered by ProfiLingua Krakow. The plan includes mini-lessons in English and a board game. Do not forget to take a look at the Kids in Krakow fun zone, the Alilo shop with educational toys and the Read with Albik corner where you will find books, games and puzzles!

A unique concert will be the main highlight of the day. It is unique because it has been prepared by kids for kids! Join us at in Room S1 at 1 p.m. to listen to the Krakow Children’s Choir and watch the Theater, Music and Dance Studio perform. Remember! You need a free ticket to enter the concert. One can get hungry with so many things to do! Fortunately, Masters Catering come to the rescue and will have tasty snacks for all participants. There will also be a Good Lood ice cream stand waiting for smaller and larger gourmets.

Developing empathy and building appropriate behaviour from an early age are the objectives behind the unique workshops offered by the WOMAI Centre of Science and Senses and the Migawki Group. Thanks to them, we will be able to experience the reality of blind people, for example, thanks to sensory games, and we will learn about the world of the deaf and the fascinating sign language. We can combat discrimination against people with disabilities through play.

The Mam Marzenie Foundation will also be in ICE Krakow and will be collecting new toys, puzzles, crayons, colouring books and any other things useful for children for whom the hospital is a second home throughout November. On 25 November each year which is the Teddy Bear Day, volunteers give the collected toys to young patients. We encourage you to join in this wonderful action!

Good Morning ICE Krakow will take place from 10:00 to 14:00 on Sunday, 20 November. The event is free. Tickets are only needed for the concert and can be collected as of 10 November here.

Good Morning ICE Krakow is organised by: the City of Krakow, KBF, Krakow 5020 and Kids in Krakow.
